The Fjell MT1230 snowboard is built and designed for freestyle freeriding, but also defines itself as an all mountain board that thrives anywhere, in any condition, all over the mountain.
This board has a centered stance/twin-shape with abig nose and tail makes the MT1230 float and flow well in powder. It utilizes CAMrock profile ensuring normal camber between the bindings but with a soft rocker shape in the nose and tail. This contributes to a fun and easy to ride board in powder, where you can land fakie or ride switch with confidence.
The MT1230 is a perfect all around board suitable for many types of riders. The poplar wood core provides a lightweight board with super pop and snap that makes it playful, and able to master demanding conditions with a combination of design and materials.
The sintered base is fast and robust against rough terrain in all snow conditions. ABS sidewalls and a biaxial fiberglass weave provide torsional stiffness, as well as a predictable flex.
The board is manufactured with the environment in mind using a non-toxic topcoat that still sheds snow well and recycled steel edges. Finishing the tip and tail off are aluminum reinforcement plates built right into the base.
