Taking its design cues from the best in the business, The Freequencer is baked in the mould of the infamous Milligram Split but built to appeal to a broader spectrum of shredders. Though more affordable than the Milli, no corners have been cut: it's lightweight but can take a licking and keep on ticking so you can trust itto get you to the pow pow far away from the crowd.

Whether it’s blitzing blower or blasting crud, the Freequencer’s versatile shape means it’s perfectly tuned to whatever you’re riding.

In touring mode, you can feel confident in Amplid’s custom board clips. We removed catchy hardware from the base of the board making servicing easier.

  • Low Camber W/ Early Rise - A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Its toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

Omni Core - This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lightweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.

Pre-Cured Impact Pads - Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.

Biaxial Glass - Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.

Extruded 4 Base - If we didn’t tell you, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next level glide properties and rarely needs waxing.

Flotation Tips - Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.

Split Tune - We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.

Bolted Tip Clips - Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.

Custom Clips - Forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house by Amplid’s R&D team, offer a dependable, but weightless connection between board halves and have a slick matt black aesthetic.
