The Paradigma is everything you want from a snowboard, without compromise. Since day one this legend has set the all-mountain standard. Now, with fifteen years of shape, camber and construction evolution under its belt, the bar it sets is sky-high! The smooth feel of Viscodamp is just another feather in the cap of this esteemed veteran.
More adaptable than MacGyver with a Leatherman, it might not diffuse explosives with pack of Wrigley’s, but the Paradigma handles everything the mountain can throw at it, no sweat.
Amplid Paradigma Snowboard
Carbon Pop Band - A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a ski or snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
All Terrain Tips - A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
Basalt Suspension Strips - Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Omni Core - This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
Biaxial Glass - Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
Sintered 7 Base - Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
Pre-Cured Impact Plates - Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.
Viscodamp Dampning Technology - Full-depth channels are CNC-ed into the core and filled with low-shore-hardness TPU. TPU reduces vibrations by absorbing shear energy. The ride is smoother, more precise and less fatiguing.
