With a shape based on the female-specific freeride powerhouse that is the Love Life, the all-new
Amplid Mahalo is guaranteed to give splitboarding women the lightening response and stability at speed that they demand when surfing untracked peaks. Taking advantage of our new, super durable Knuckle Sandwich construction to better withstand the chips and dings that are part and parcel of touring, the lively yet surfy Mahalo comes in two lengths and also features Amplid’s homegrown splitboard hardware.
The solid version of the LoveLife rocks, so Amplid didn’t mess with the formula and only improved on the manufacturing. Cruise Camber and a directional shape create the perfect blend of control in unforgiving conditions and glide in powder. Premium build quality and materials make a board that will exceed and your expectations in terms of responsiveness, stability and robustness in a lightweight package.
With Amplid's new patented STRATOSPHERIC topsheet, lighter weight is achieved from simply designing topsheets that prevent snow buildup.
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards and skis a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.
Amplid Mahalo Splitboard
Flotation Tips - Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.
Basalt Suspension Strips - Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Stratospheric Topsheet - Less heat, less sticky snow, less weight - Thanks to a special heat reflecting coating patented by Amplid.
Omni Core - This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.
Biaxial Glass - Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
Sintered 7 Base - Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage.
Split Tune - We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.
Bolted Tip Clips - Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.
Pre-Cured Impact Plates - Tough, pre-cured composite impact plates placed beneath bindings and touring hardware significantly reduce the risk of topsheet dings and breakages.
Custom Clips - Forged aluminium board hooks, designed in-house by Amplid’s R&D team, offer a dependable, but weightless connection between board halves and have a slick matt black aesthetic.
